Conference and Banqueting Deputy Manager

Conference & Banqueting  Deputy Manager. We’ll hedge a guess that you’re able to spin 100 plates at once, not literally – of course, but you’re someone who thrives under pressure and is passionate about ensuring every event runs smoothly.

As clichéd as it sounds, you'll constantly want to change things up a bit, finding innovative and bespoke ways to put a smile on your customer’s face. You’ll be an expert at managing both the CEO of a business who needs a flawless, professional conference and an over-bearing father of the bride who needs to be consistently updated to ensure his daughter’s day is as perfect as she is. These are little details that make you outstanding and mean you create memorable experiences for your customers.

What will I be responsible for as a Conference & Banqueting  Deputy Manager?

As a Conference & Banqueting Deputy Manager at Kew Green you’ll be busy gaining experience in the following:

  • Leading the provision of an outstanding event management service
  • Coaching, mentoring and leading your C&B team with a trusting approach - ensuring their commitment to delivering outstanding and bespoke service
  • Getting to know your customers and using your relationships to offer suggestions to enhance their experiences, making them unforgettable
  • Working closely with your Operations Manager who will encourage you to love change and find your own unique ways to further enhance your guest experience
  • Oh, and you’ll also be required to be a magician. Or at least be capable of juggling each event, customer, and guest whilst not missing any details
  • Managing stock and labor margins against your P&L.

Is this Conference & Banqueting Deputy Manager role right for me?

  • Experience leading, coaching and training a team to execute outstanding event coordination and management
  • To be successful in this role you will be engaging, a relationship builder and influencer
  • You will be flexible, adaptable – hardworking and FUN!
